WISH BRACELETS
The idea behind the wish bracelet is that it should wear through fall off after some time in order for your wish to come true. Please be sure to follow the instructions that come with your bracelet to ensure that it is properly tied on. We cannot be held liable for any lost bracelets. We have, however, tried and tested them out on ourselves and they lasted a up to a year on us.As much as we hope that all your wishes come true, sadly we cannot guarantee this. That being said we are holding thumbs.
  • Our wish bracelets are hand made using solid 9kt yellow gold, or sterling silver chain.
  • The silk we use is naturally dyed silk.  
  • The wish bracelets measure approximately 35cm to allow for spare thread when tying onto wrist. 
  • Each pearl is unique and will differ from the pearls pictured in the product pictures, in size, shape or colour.

    • The custom process:

      In order to begin our journey, I'll need some key details from you:

      • Budget: This sets the stage for your vision. Knowing your budget guides decisions on design, stone selection, and the choice of metals.
      • Ring Size: An obvious but crucial detail. If you're unsure, don't worry—we can always resize later (see 'Resizing and alterations' for details).
      • Metal Preference: I work with various precious metals. Feel free to ask for quotes on different options to align with your preferences.
      • Reference Images: Share images that capture your desired style. My aesthetic leans towards timeless, classic, and simplicity, ensuring pieces that endure both visually and practically.
      • Timeframe: Custom pieces typically take 3 to 8 weeks. Let me know your time constraints, if any, so we can plan accordingly.
      • Stone Specifications: Type, shape, colour, quantity, etc. Check 'Stones' below for more details.
      • Details: Any special considerations such as hidden stones or engraving should be included as they will impact the quote.

       

      • Throughout the process I'll provide guidance on what's feasible.

       

      Once I have these details, I'll start sourcing stones within your budget and design. We'll then set up a meeting, either in person, over the phone, or via video call (Mon-Fri, 9 am - 4:30 pm). Meetings typically run for 15-45 minutes.

       

      After deciding on stones and approving a quote, a non-refundable deposit (usually between 60%-80%) is required. With the deposit in hand, I'll create CAD designs, send renders for approval, and upon your written approval, bring your chosen design to life.

      If you'd like CAD drawings before approving the quote, a fee of R1500,00 applies. This fee is deducted from the final quote if you decide to proceed.

    Valuation Certificates & Invoices
    Online and custom orders over the value or R5000.00 will be accompanied by a digital (PDF) valuation certificate upon handover or shipping. No printed invoices or valuation certificates will be sent with online orders or custom pieces. Should you require a valuation certificate for orders under the above value a minimum admin fee of R200.00 will be applicable. 
    DAMAGES & ISSUES
    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. No broken wish bracelets will be accepted due to the nature of the product. Should the wish bracelets break within three weeks of purchase we will happily replace it, given the customer has returned the broken wish bracelet for evaluation.

    JEWELLERY WARRANTY ON NEW PURCHASES (excluding Wish Bracelets).

    Almost Forgotten, Never Told (PTY) LTD provides a lifetime warranty on all jewellery purchased from us. This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship by the manufacturer, excluding neglect or abuse (see * below). Regular inspection of your jewellery is essential to prevent potential issues. We offer complimentary inspections for all jewellery purchased from us. To maintain your warranty, regular upkeep of your jewellery, including covering normal repairs due to wear, damage, or abuse, is required. To schedule a free cleaning and inspection appointment, please contact us. If you are shipping your jewellery to us, you are responsible only for shipping charges. Please securely package your jewellery items and contact us to arrange collection via our courier service.

    WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS & EXCLUSIONS

    Our warranty does NOT cover:

    1. Damage to jewellery due to negligence or abuse (e.g., loss of stones due to bent, damaged, or worn out prongs).
    2. Repairs performed by another jeweller on items purchased from Almost Forgotten, Never Told (PTY) LTD, which voids our warranty.
    3. Loss of a center stone (e.g., diamond), which may be covered by your Homeowners Insurance policy (a valuation certificate is provided for items over R5000.00 upon initial handover).

    Please note: Prices and styles on our website are subject to change without notice due to market fluctuations of precious metals and diamonds. We reserve the right to correct typographical, photographic, and descriptive errors. Diamond weights are approximate, and jewellery may be enlarged to show detail. We also reserve the right to limit quantities or opt out of sales transactions.


    RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
    Should you be unhappy with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of making the purchase to either exchange, or return it for store credit. Unfortunately we do not do refunds under any circumstances. 
    • Products being returned must be unused, unworn, undamaged and in the original packaging.
    • Proof of purchase must be presented.
    • We don’t accept any returns after 2 weeks from the purchase date.
    • You will need to pay for postage when returning the item.
    • Under no circumstances will returns on bespoke or made to order pieces be accepted.
    • Any deposits paid toward custom pieces are non-refundable. 

      SHIPPING
      Each order will be shipped with a tracking number, which you will receive via email as soon as the couriers have your parcel.
      Please allow for up to 7 working days once you have received your tracking number from us.

      We do not warrant that the information on our site is accurate, complete or current. This includes pricing and availability information. We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions and to change or update any information without prior notice.
